Course Description
You’ve been growing your HR expertise—now it’s time to earn the credentials that reflect it. The non-credit SHRM Certification Prep+® course is designed for HR professionals ready to take the next step with purpose and confidence.
Led by ECU faculty, a SHRM-certified instructor, this in-person course gives you more than just content review. It’s a structured, supportive space to dig into the SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge® (SHRM BASK®), test your knowledge with real sample questions, and connect with others on the same path. You’ll engage with peers in an interactive classroom, apply concepts through real-world scenarios, and measure your progress with sample questions and checkpoints.
Your registration includes full access to the SHRM Certification Prep System®, a trusted tool that pairs perfectly with the classroom experience. Together, they provide the framework and flexibility to focus your efforts where they matter most. Note that registration (and associated fees) for the test itself is separate. This is a 12-day course, meeting on consecutive Wednesdays (skipping 11-25-26). The hours are 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm each day.
