Course Description

The Families of Musical Instruments Workshop is an interactive and engaging educational experience designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the various families of musical instruments. This workshop is facilitated by the students of ECU's School of Music, who will guide and assist participants in exploring, discussing, and interacting with different types of musical instruments. This workshop provides a unique opportunity for participants to learn about the families of musical instruments through a combination of informative presentations, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. By the end of the course, participants will have gained a deeper appreciation for the rich world of musical instruments and a better understanding of their role in shaping musical cultures throughout history.
